O.K. after reading an absolutely hilarious blog here:

I decided that maybe I would use my blog to try to list some of the funny things kids say. I'm a teacher in a lower SES elementary school. I am a Special Education Inclusion teacher. That means that I go into General Education classrooms (mostly 4th and 5th) to help students who need a little extra help getting by.
Believe me when I say that if the kids didn't say totally silly, inane things, some days might be unbearable.
Today as we were preparing for "Nacho Ordinary REading Night" (yes that's really what my principal decided to call our Open House), I was in a fifth grade science class. Last week I had brought some NASA pictures in that I had bought at a garage sale. The kids participated in a video conference with NASA to talk about jobs in Space. Well, today one of them was looking at the pictures and saw one that was an astronaut in his/her spacesuit. He turns to me and says, "Is that you?" I replied, "Uh, yeah, that's me walking on the moon! What do you think?"
I'd already told them that I bought the pics at a garage sale. :)
More later. I'll try hard to keep up with the silly things that happen at school.
